Day 16: How to Identify Where You Are Not Receiving Correction
RAMADAN
Everyone has at least one area where feedback or correction is not currently landing. Not because the feedback is wrong — because something is preventing it from being received. Sealed self-regard. Protective ego. A decision, conscious or not, that this particular area is not available for revision.
Today, locate that area. Ask: where am I currently not updating? Where has someone offered a correction that I deflected, minimized, or ignored? Where do I feel certain in a way that is slightly too comfortable?
You do not need to immediately accept the correction you have been deflecting. You need to locate it accurately and name what has been blocking it. The block is usually protective — it developed for a reason. Knowing what it is protecting allows you to decide deliberately whether the protection is still necessary.
